Amazing place! Our room was large, beautiful with a breathtaking view. The staff was very kind and helpful. It’s a tricky road upp to the castle, but once you’re there it’s worth everything. It’s not far from Knysna center, and it’s easy to go anywhere you want in the area.

I actually only wanted to stay three nights. But it turned out to be more. Need I say more? In short: a place to fall in love with. And Wendy played a key role in that. 🙏

Great find, Chez Pierre was a lovely stopover to explore the wider Knysner area. The room is part of a bed and breakfast in the main house. Our family room was private, large, cosy, warm with a lovely bathroom ( bath and shower). The house is buzzing with life.... 4 x Uber cute dogs, a bunny, staff and onsite owners all of which were enjoyed by us and our little people. A short drive to The Heads for amazing views. They also offer Belgium waffles in their public cafe... don't leave without tasting them... Amazing! We had breakfast included, this was lovely too.

We absolutely loved the peace and tranquilty of this Guesthouse - we were moved from the Pearl View to the sister guesthouse - Castle on the Heads, which is situated at the top of the hill and has stunning views of the ocean and Knysna. The property is surrounded by a beautiful, well-kept garden and has a fantastic pool area. Marina, the owner of the two guesthouses, has excellent taste. A delicious breakfast was prepared and initially served by exceptionally friendly staff on the terrace of the Pearl View Guesthouse (a mere 3-minute drive from the Castle on the Heads) We'd love to return to this amazing guesthouse and will definitely recommend to family and friends
