The view is amazing. It's on a very sweet spot with very little traffic. The host is absolutely fantastic. Sad that we could only spend one night, but we will definitely do it again. At night, you get the sound of the ocean being the background noise to a romantic evening...what more do you want.

Penguin Place is such a special place! It has the most beautiful view of the ocean and you can walk practically from your room to the beach. We stayed in winter, so unfortunately it was too cold for the pool, but I could see that it must be awesome in summer! Santie was also really lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.

We loved everything. Having traveled over the world, this has been one of the best, homely feeling have had. The manager was amazing, responsive and caring to our needs. And the staff friendly and you can see they love what they do. We asked for almond milk, and the next day they had it for us. This is just one example. If I had an option, I would rate it 12. Definitely our new spot when in CT.

The owners of the property were very friendly, kind and extremely helpful. They were never intrusive but went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. We often sat out on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool in the evenings, chatting together and watching the wild birds in their beautiful garden. There was a well-equipped kitchen which I was free to use. I had a double bedroom to myself and my own bathroom. My bedroom looked out onto the very attractive garden and swimming pool The property including the garden and the swimming are all, clean, tidy and very well maintained

Irene is very friendly and accommodating! I read on previous reviews someone noted how good the cottage smells! I understand why. A lot of attention to detail in how everything smells. From the scatter cusions to the bed throw. It is just fresh clean and calming. The kitchenette is very well planned out. You can just walk everywhere. The beach is a stone's throw away. Highly recommended
