Excellent location for exploring the Panorama Route, and the host; Shirley, was absolutely amazing! When we arrived late, she had already reserved a table for us at the best restaurant in town. Plus, when we were without our luggage, she went above and beyond to help us retrieve it.

Dar Amane guesthouse is a delightful retreat with wonderful staff, artistic decor, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Hendry, was friendly and attentive, offering great tips and engaging conversation that made our stay even more memorable. Breakfast served on the terrace of our apartment was delicious, and it was the perfect place to unwind after time in the bush. Its location also made it an excellent base for exploring the stunning sights of Blyde River Canyon.

We spent two nights there to do the Panorama Route. Sean is a gem. He was super helpful at all times. Great breakfast; he even made us a duck egg omelet from the garden so we could try it. Carla, Sean’s mother, is the cook at their restaurant, so the atmosphere is very homely and welcoming. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.
