Days later, while I was staying at another place, I walked past the hotel again and JJ spontaneously invited me to a dinner they were throwing for a group of guests. Thanks a lot!

They give you a sense of the unique culture available on the island. - Super affordable qnd woth ittt. - Go local: Supporting such businesses instead of super expensive chains (that don't peovide half of the services they offer) is a must. LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE AMAZING HOSTS BEHIND IT.

In the afternoon when we were back from the day trip there was a lunch waiting for us with everything we agreed on the day before. We already had our day trips organized prior to arrival, but I would absolutely trust him to organize activities around Aswan.
