The accommodation is conveniently located near the public ferry, which runs frequently and costs only 10 EGP per person. JJ welcomes you with tasty lemon-mint drink and offers the tea when he sees you :)

The air-conditioned accommodation is 11 km from Nubian Museum. The accommodation provides luggage storage space, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. We loved the property! Our host Hafez is a wonderful human being and a superb host! He ensured we are comfortable and helped us with local tips. This is also a very well decorated place, and in the heart of the Nubian village and the jetty to take the ferry ride! This is super worth the money we spent!

At Nubian Soul Guest Houses, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in Mediterranean cuisine. Our host Bibo was fabulous. He arranged our pick up from the airport and boat to the guest house. He arranged our felucca sunset sail. We loved our stay on Eliphintine island, it was very quiet and very easy to cross with the local ferry.

Most importantly, staff were amazing, helpful and welcoming. They provided advice on how to get to main sites in Aswan, helped us secure good prices and booked day trip to Abu Simbel. Highly recommend this place and will definitely return! Thank you again for making our stay on Elephantine very nice and memorable , I was truly overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality at this place. Ahmed the owner, along with his staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They arranged a car from the airport, and the driver was in touch with me well in advance of my arrival. Despite my late arrival, Ahmed prepared a delicious homemade dinner at a very reasonable price. She also organized a felucca ride on short notice, again at a fair rate. During our conversations, I shared some stories about my family who couldn’t join me on the trip. In a beautiful and thoughtful gesture, Ahmed gave a small gift for my wife and kids — a touching example of Nubian hospitality and culture that really stayed with me. On my first day, her son kindly accompanied me on the ferry to help me get familiar with the area — another thoughtful gesture I really appreciated. Every request I had was taken care of promptly and with genuine care. Do note that the place is located on an island, so you'll need to take a ferry to get in and out. The service is frequent, but it’s something to be aware of when planning. We stayed at Nuba Heart as a family with two children and had an amazing experience. The accommodation was spacious and quiet, with two large bedrooms. It's ideally located—just a short walk from the ferry (only 10 EGP per person), and close to the train station and the local bazaar. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth. A taxi was waiting for us at the airport, and Thameer organized all our tours and even our transfer to our next accommodation in Luxor, all at very good prices. He was always available and ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed delicious breakfast and lovely rooftop dinners with a great view. The Nubian village around the guesthouse is full of charm and becomes very lively at night. The locals are warm and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommended, especially for families looking for an authentic experience and excellent hospitality. Our children loved it.

The view of Aswan Corniche from the wonderful terrace are fabulous day and night. Now on to Mohammed, the proprietor. The nicest, kindest, most genuine man you’ll meet. He looked after us like we were family. We flew into Aswan from Cairo but when we arrived in Cairo our luggage wasn’t. We messaged Mohammed just to let him know what happened and even though at this stage we still hadn’t met he took ownership of the issue and just ran with it. He had a car meet us at the airport which took us straight to a pharmacy to buy toiletries before taking us to the guest house. The following morning after making sure we had some breakfast he guided us to a shopping centre where we could purchase replacement clothing. In addition to all this Mohammed looked after all our bookings for tours and trips. He well and truly saved our holiday. The beds in the room were so comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful.
