Renato who owns the place is a fantastic manager and was very polite, speaks excellent English and knows everything about the town. He responds very promptly when messaging or calling during daytime hours. The free breakfast is delicious and filling and Renato cooks it once he has settled you in with a tea or coffee. The room is clean, has heating and hot water that does not run out fast in the winter. There is a beautiful garden where you can relax or smoke. The cat is so nice too!

Wir hatten in dieser Unterkunft durchweg positive Erfahrungen. Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig – ideal, um die Natur zu genießen und etwas zur Ruhe zu kommen. Besonders beeindruckend war die tolle Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge und Landschaften. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, und auf unsere Fragen hin bekamen wir viele hilfreiche Tipps vom Gastgeber. Die Zufahrt zur Unterkunft ist etwas holprig, aber das ist in dieser bergigen Gegend wohl normal und sollte niemanden abschrecken. Insgesamt war es sehr idyllisch und angenehm – wir würden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

We felt so lucky to discover Mathilda and Aryan’s place on the river near Lake Koman. We originally stopped for just one night before taking the ferry, but easily could have stayed several more. The setting is beautiful, with great hiking trails and a working farm where we enjoyed grapes and fresh produce right from the garden. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip, and Mathilda and Aryan were such warm and generous hosts. Dinner with them is a must, the food and company made the experience unforgettable. The road getting there was a bit rough, but we just took it slow in our rental car and were fine and it looks like it should be finished in a few months. We’d love to come back and spend more time hiking, especially up to the fortress on the hill behind their house

We had a perfect stay. The room is super clean, modern, with everything you need- refrigerator, air-conditioner, great bed and a balcony. The view from the room is amazing!! The mountains and the river. The family that runs the place is so sweet and helpful! The breakfast they serve is absolutely amazing, so big and so tasty. Everything is local and very fresh. The location of the house is also very good- super close to the river, to the trail to the waterfall and to many other walking trails. Close enough to everything but away from all the cars and the noise in the middle of Theth. We loved it. Thank you so much. 12/10!!!

Absolutely breathtaking. There are quite a few stairs if you’re coming from the lower entrance, so keep that in mind. The owner is incredibly kind and a real pleasure to talk to. Do not miss the traditional carpet weaving on the lower floor. It is a beautiful and unique experience.

Extremely welcoming, kind owners that built the place themselves. Our room was very spacious and modern for Albanian standards. Good local food. Very authentic experience. Located outside of Theth, very tranquil. 10min drive or 25min walk to Theth village (offroad, but 2WD sufficient). We came as a family with a 1year old, they were so kind and loving with our small one that he didnt want to leave.
