The modern rooms and apartments have a balcony with lake or mountain views, free WiFi access, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a bathroom. We loved our stay at Pension Rudolfshöhe. Flo and his partner were really nice and helpful, accomodating our request for earlier breakfest and giving us great tips how to spend our Saturday before heading home. The room is big enough and cosy with beautiful view on the hills and the lake. Breakfest was delicious and a lovely gentleman made us great scrambled and fried eggs. The pension is very close to town with shops, cafes and restaurants, but quiet at the same time, so you can relax after a long day by the lake or on a racetrack :)

Free WiFi is provided in public areas, and a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang can be reached within a 9-minute walk. This is the nicest place I've stayed in since I've been in Austria. It is located nestled down beside a river about a 10 minute walk from the lake. The location is ideal if you wish to walk up to the top of Schafberg as the route starts nearby or even to get the funicular which runs close by. The room was very big and had a beautiful balcony that sat next to the stream that ran a little below. The views are also incredible, a must stay place.

We came to Austria for skiing and had a great experience in de Leopoldhof hotel. Beautiful spa, very comfortable apartment, nice staff and great service. Hotel is located in beautiful nature next to the lake. I could imagine it’s also very nice during summer.

The city of Salzburg and the spa town of Bad Ischl are a 30-minute drive away from the Mayerhofer guest house. The property is spacious and very comfortable for a family of for. It is located close to SPAR shop and just a few minutes walk from the beach. The host was very welcoming and friendly, spoiling us with Mozart Kugels 😊

Located in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, Hotel-Pension Falkensteiner is 250 metres from the Zwölferhorn Cable Car and 400 metres from Lake Wolfgang. It offers free WiFi and provides bicycles free of charge. A private beach a 20-minute walk away. Great breakfast. The lady in charge was very nice and helped with everything we asked.

Pension Schlömmer is located 4 km from Sankt Gilgen and has a private beach access to Lake Wolfgang, just 200 metres from the house. It offers for guests a balcony in every room. Guests have panoramic mountain and lake views. Free WiFi is available. Check-in and check-out went smooth and fast. The room and the house in general were neatly clean without any foreign smells. Bed and pillows were super comfy. We haven't slept that well for long time. Perfect location with 5-10 minutes walk to the public beach on the lake, which provided nice view, comfortable entrance to the water, benches. You can easily access all sightseeings in the region by car. Breakfast was the same every day, but delicious. Open buffet was available provided homemade yoghurts, various fresh fruits and berries, including even raspberry and blueberry, boiled eggs, flakes, dried fruits. In addition you get a plate of cheese and ham. Egg dishes could be cooked upon request. We enjoyed the views from a balcony. You get Wolfgangsee card, which gives you discounts for cable car, boat rides, rodelbahn and so on. Would be happy to come back.

Just 150 metres from Lake Wolfgang, Gästehaus Kloibergütl offers a private beach with deckchairs, free bicycle hire, and free WiFi in the entire property. The terrace and the balconies in all apartments overlook the lake. Super friendly reception, amazing view and location. Accommodated a post-running event late checkout.

A beautiful wooden house, and the host and children are very friendly. The house is just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, and taking bus line 150 allows you to get anywhere. The house is clean and tidy, with mountain views right outside the window—I had a very comfortable stay.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Gilgen, 300 metres from the shores of the Wolfgangsee lake. View from room was lovely, bed comfy, shower good and strong, secure bike storage and breakfast good and plentiful. Great hotel to stay at.

The location is wonderful because you can walk everywhere in town and it's close to the bus stop if you are coming by public transport!
