The host, (thank you directly if you are reading this :) was just perfect. Very helpful with what to do, and kept talking in German which allowed me to practice, as I am learning the language. In many other places in Austria and Germany, people just tend to switch to English when they hear me :D On top of that, the area in the mountains is just gorgeous and the premises were nicely taken care of and clean.

Some snacks, coffee and tea were always available. The staff was very welcoming. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel, it takes you straight to the city in a short time.

Hohensalzburg Fortress is 2.7 km from Pension Ballwein, while Getreidegasse is 2.8 km away. The nearest airport is W. A. Mozart Airport, 3 km from the property. This even exceeded my expectations. I saw the many positive reviews ... and still was positivly surprised ... This is the ideal place if you come by car (good, safe, free of charge and enough parking next to the house), a bus stop (Nr 21 "Gsengerweg") to the city center is also right there (between the parking and street with busstop is just a hedge sepatating street and house.) For me it was an ideal place to relax (very calm but safe environment, much nature) and work (desk in the room, good light). My room had a spaceful cosy balcony with view to mountains (besides: it's that mountain from the "Sound of Music poster"). Spaceful modern bathroom. Super clean,  room, even the inside the wardrobe had a fresh/neutral smell. My room was modern but cosy, perfect size, tasteful room design. There was a mini bar in my room with good choise of things, a kettle and coffee machine, teas and coffee, hair dryer, safety box, air conditioning, good size TV, sofa, balcony with comfy chairs. Nearby are several restaurants in walking distance (Lake of "Sound of Music" is just 1 km away). Breakfast is included and very good. But the best was: The owners - a family - of this pension are super kind, they really care for their house and for their guests, in the exact proper way (not too much, just right and sensitive for each guest's needs) -  I felt super good and "at home". (Little secret: "Family pension" is a bit of an understatement, the couple are both trained in hotel management, they are professionels! This is like a 4 star hotel which feels like a home!)

Overlooking the Salzach Valley and the Untersberg Mountain, Pension David is 1 km from Puch and 4 km from Hallein. Salzburg can be reached in a 15-minute drive. It features an outdoor pool, free WiFi access, and en suite rooms with satellite TV. Scenic and peaceful. Train tickets to Salzburg were appreciated.

Bicycles and parking are available on site free of charge. We feel very comfortable in tje hotel. The stuff are very kind, the room s are clean tight and comfortable. I recomand it for everybody who wants to enjoy tje vacation. We will come back with the family :)

Located in a historic town house, right in the heart of Salzburg, the family-run arte vida boutique guesthouse offers a garden with a seating area and features rooms with Moroccan-style furniture. Please note that the arte vida boutique guesthouse has no lift. The Getreidegasse, with Mozart’s birthplace, is just a 5-minute walk away. What a gem this apartment is!! I wish I could live here. Everything was excellent, Having a washing machine was great. The location was convenient with bus just around the corner. Mirrabell gardens next door. Great view out the window. I cant find anything negative to say. A few flights of stairs to reach the apartment, but if you have no knee issues you'll be fine.
