The host Lynne checked to be sure we had everything we needed. We met her briefly and she was warm and so welcoming. This was a very memorable stay in a charming town with easy and quick access to the wondrous Blue Mountains. If it is available, book it!

Katoomba Kurrara Historic Guest House is a 15-minute walk from Echo Point and Katoomba Station. It is a 12-minute drive from Wentworth Falls and a 20-minute drive from Blackheath Grand Canyon. The beautiful Jenolan Caves is a 1.5-hour drive away. Kurrara house is very welcoming, well set out rooms with ensuite. Safe & quiet area. Use of all the lovely decorated lounge and dinning rooms. Tea & coffee facilities 24/7. As we were late there you are able to bring takeaways back and be comfortable having dinner with drinks. Hosts provide a great breakfast range in the sun room a great way to start exploring for the day. We will return.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, The Chalet Guesthouse And Studio is a guest house set in a historic building in Medlow Bath, 10 km from Three Sisters Cable Car. Offering free private parking, the 4-star guest house is 9.2 km from Katoomba Scenic World. The guest house has family rooms. The hosts were so warm and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We had breakfast overlooking the garden with beautifully coloured birds at the window and spent an unusually cool November evening in front of the fire reconnecting without our usual distraction of devices and city noise. We plan to return as often as we can.

Melissa was also super accommodating for our dog and provided us with some additional towels to dry him off as it was was raining heavily. The accommodation was immaculately presented and well equipped for a very relaxing stay.

A recently renovated holiday home situated in Mount Wilson, Amaroo Guesthouse features a garden. With garden views, this accommodation features a patio. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I loved the location. I’d never been to Mount Wilson before and I was so surprised by how different it is to the rest of the Blue Mountains. The house is beautiful and perfect for a large gathering. The kitchen is well equipped and all of the rooms are comfortable
