Loved the remote check in, took the pressure off confirming an arrival time as I wasn't sure how late into the night I would be. I absolutely loved the location - didn't make it to the included breakfast as got pulled away by the many nearby local eateries but I loved the convenience of the location, the free parking and the easy/private access to my super comfy loft. It was a very lovely and relaxing weekend escape! The communications in the lead up to check in were also incredibly helpful and informative.

Set on 12 acres, guests at this property can take a stroll around the lush gardens, or relax on the terrace and take in the panoramic views of the vineyards and mountains. First class accommodations set among gorgeous gardens. When arriving and departing (every single time), we saw several kangaroos hopping along and playing in the acreage surrounding the villas. It was magical, as were all the grounds. Tranquil water sculpture/fountain just outside our villa.

All units are fitted with a kettle, while selected rooms include a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, a toaster and a stovetop. At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. We got upgraded to a bigger room as we were on our honeymoon, and they were so kind to do so and to leave us a bottle of wine. The bed was so big and comfortable, had a fantastic night sleep! The Red Door is not only a wonderful place to stay in the Hunter Valley as it is close to the popular vineyards and restaurants but it is a place where you will feel at home, the owners Evelyn and Stuart and of course Geronimo & Mona the The cutest dogs made our stay a unique experience. When you visit them, be sure to try Evelyn's wonderful dinners. We were really surprised by how well she cooks. We had a beautiful experience and I hope you have yours, we will definitely return, I just hope that with all the good reviews we find a place to book.

It was so nicely furnished and decorated, absolutely spotless and so comfortable for our family. We had 8 adults and 2 babies staying at there was plenty of room for everyone. I loved the beanbags on the floor too, that was such a nice touch and so great for hanging out with the babies.
