HOSTS The lodge is run by a local family, Alicia, her husband, and their child, and all of them are super attentive hosts, always there for you if something additional is needed. LOCATION The lodge is ideally located in what is called "the town", so you'll be close not only to the best-ranked restaurants, but also to many stores where you can get from snacks to fruits and vegetables. It has a stunning view, which literally leaves you speechless, and yes, it's worth every step you climb to get up there (believe us, you'll appreciate staying there!) From here, you'll be able to start trekking to the north, and to the Pilkokaina temple, skipping the first challenging climbing if staying around the port, and if you like exploring, there are many hills in the surroundings to visit with unbelievable views, which are not commonly visited. An additional plus: you're a few steps away from the best sunset viewpoint. BEDROOM My husband and I took the Double Room with Lake View, which has a queen bed and a private bathroom. Both areas, the bedroom and the bathroom, were super tidy and clean. Besides the basic toiletries, we were provided with two shower towels and a shower mat. We stayed 5 nights and we had cleaning service without any additional cost. The bedroom has a nice and pleasant temperature all day, and this is possible thanks to the bedroom's compact design, the wooden floor, the alpaca bedside rugs, and the hermetic windows. Also, the bed has enough blankets to keep you warm during the cold nights, which we consider important. BREAKFAST We had breakfast included, and we can say it's exactly what someone needs to yield physically while exploring the island, and of course, natural ingredients & yummy! (Basically: local herbs infusion, tea or coffee, natural orange juice, scrambled eggs, butter and jam, local bread).

It is cold, but that is normal in this period. Really enjoyed the hot water shower too! Breakfast was nice but would have liked something salty too, maybe salty pancake ☺️ the views are the best!

Das Hotel ist zwar nur über eine steile Straße zu erreichen, aber der Ausblick vom Hotel auf den Titicacasee ist wunderschön. Das Zimmer ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, alles sehr sauber, das Bett ist gemütlich und warm mit vielen Decken, die Dusche ist warm. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Wasserkocher und Tee. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns mit vielen Infos versorgt. Das Frühstück ist gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We loved staying here and the views from the balcony at sunset are beautiful. The facilities are great and the kitchen is well equipped to cook your own meals. Victor is an incredible host - so kind and welcoming. I unfortunately got food poisoning on our last day and Victor let me stay at the hostel all day to recover while we waited for our bus at 6pm.
