And to my surprise I really loved THESE dogs - magnificent, strong animals but also well-behaved and gentle. They're obviously well-trained and well-treated. I almost didn't go on the morning walk, and that would have been a big mistake - it turned out (like for many people!) to be a highlight of my trip. I'd love to go back in the winter for the sledding. Also, as all reviewers rightly note, the owners are very friendly.

The manager is not onsite but we were able to communicate with them. It is self check-in. You can use the kitchen as well as the washer and dryer. The auberge is close to the veloroute des bleuets and restaurants.
