This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

The hotel’s location is superb, just a few meters from the lake and surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants, a supermarket, and a pharmacy. It’s also within walking distance (about 3.5 km) from Locarno. The village itself offers a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal place to unwind. Breakfast is elegant and delicious, featuring fresh seasonal fruits and a thoughtful selection of options. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality.

Great location (10 minutes on foot from piazza grande, quiet place, parking in front), amazing and charming apartment perfectly equipped and sparkling clean, nice and responsive host! Absolutely top!

One parking space on site is guaranteed per room. The Ascona Bus Stop is 500 metres away. It was a perfect stay. The hotel is close to downtown. The bus stops right in front of the hotel. They also have a privat parking direct at the hotel. The hotel is super clean. The personal is outstanding, very friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. We would always go back as soon as we are in this region of Switzerland.

Typical Ticino-style Pensione Olanda is 1 km from the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage church, and features garden and a terrace, furnished with deckchairs and offering panoramic views of Locarno and Lake Maggiore. Wi-Fi is available in the entire building for free. Very cute room (with a sink) and a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Davide made the whole stay extremely pleasant, I especially loved reading out on the terrace which had an even better panoramic view. Buffet breakfast in the morning was very homely and delicious, lots of homemade goodies that I enjoyed everyday. No 3 bus made it very easy to get from the main town to the mountains, and it felt remote and quiet. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

The rooms at Hotel Garni Golf all feature a TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer. They feature air conditioning or a ceiling fan. Fantastic family-run hotel, with a personal touch, very friendly, great location, good facilities, excellent breakfast, and nearby parking. The hotel is owned and run by a couple (supported by Melody, a lovely little dog), who truly care about their business and about their clients. They are extremely friendly and helpful, engaged and personal. Thank you for making our stay special! The hotel has an excellent location, just off the promenade. Some of the rooms on the third floor offer stunning lake and mountain  views from the balconies. The rooms are in very good shape, with all the necessary facilities. Breakfast is fantastic, offering exquisite local bread and meat, as well as fresh fruits (the pineapple was deliciously sweet). Although the hotel is located in the car-free zone of Ascona, it offers private parking within three minute walking distance from the hotel. Upon arrival and departure, you can even drive through the pedestrian zone to reach the hotel to load/offload luggage. Contact the hotel for details. The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. Sun loungers, umbrellas and a heated outdoor swimming pool are available from May to September, inviting you to relax under the sun. Best of both worlds: large apartments, hotel service, large beautiful garden, nice swimming pool. A very cozy place , very little people around, very friendly staff. Walking distance from Ascona. We were in a rush while leaving and forgot few things at the hotel.. and they sent those back to our home address without any fees.
