Check-in was fully self-service, no need to wait around, which gave me a lot of freedom. One big plus: if you stay for 3 consecutive days, you can apply to the tourism bureau for reimbursement of your round-trip ticket costs. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting and Corinne was so so pleasant and helpful. Food was very good too.

Beautiful property with a gorgeous spacious room. The staff was very friendly (even with a little language barrier); they were super helpful and kind.

Located next to the car-free centre of Appenzell, Adler Hotel is set in a beautiful traditional Appenzell-style building. It offers free Wi-Fi and wired internet access, a breakfast buffet, and a charging station for electric car. Hotel Adler is a beautiful hotel, full of charm and an easy 5 minute walk from the station. My room was very clean and comfortable. The decor is in keeping with the rest of the town, very charming, I loved it. Whilst the hotel has a long history and has maintained its unique features, it has all the modern comforts that you might want. I've never stayed anywhere like it. It is right in the heart of town, surrounded by beautiful cafes, shops, and restaurants. The staff were delightful and very helpful. I travelled solo and felt safe and welcomed. Thank you to the team for a wonderful stay, I will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Garni Hotel Torkelbundte.The staff were friendly and helpful,the rooms were spotless and comfortable,and the facilities were excellent.The breakfast was delusious with lots of variety.Everything exceed our expectations,we will definetly come back and highly recommend it!
