Bett am Weiher is directly located at the shore of a pond. Swimming is possible 200 metres away at a local swimming pool. The main train station is 800 metres away and the closest bus station Adler is 50 metres from the bed and breakfast. Centrally located in the old town, lovely character in both the location and the property, beautiful views over the lake, quiet, lovely breakfast room with all we needed.

The Bären guest house offers easy access to numerous smaller Appenzell skiing and cross-country skiing areas, which can be reached within 10 minutes’ drive. Gonten Valley Golf Course is only 10 km away. hosts are extremly friendly and helpful. they are easy to communicate with and willing to help if u need for anything. Also room is very clean, beds are very comfy

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Dornbirn Exhibition Centre is 28 km from the inn and Säntis is 28 km away. Better than expected. Trails nearby. Easy parking. Room was very comfortable and updated. During the summer, it was nice to have a fan in the room. We had a great dinner on one night. The host and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay here again.

Situated at the foot of the Säntismassiv Mountain Range and the Kronberg Mountain, the Landgasthof Eischen features a traditional Appenzell restaurant with a terrace, a spa area and was renovated in 2012. Beautiful property with a gorgeous spacious room. The staff was very friendly (even with a little language barrier); they were super helpful and kind.

Located next to the car-free centre of Appenzell, Adler Hotel is set in a beautiful traditional Appenzell-style building. It offers free Wi-Fi and wired internet access, a breakfast buffet, and a charging station for electric car. Staying here was a fantastic experience. We stayed in the Junior Suite with Mountain View, and it was absolutely remarkable what the proprietor has done with this space. Absolutely the most comfortable and adorable small hotel we have stayed in Switzerland!! The roomy suite had views to the local mountain peaks, and was adorned with a large family-style table & chairs, comfortable furniture including a recliner and a couch, a flat-screen TV, and even a piano with busts of Beethoven and Brahms (I think, anyway). Just couldn't have been cozier!! Excellent breakfast. And it was clear the staff are devoted to the comfort and convenience of their guests. Like helping me carry the pizzas from the (excellent) Italian restaurant up to the room the evening my wife wasn't feeling well, Or making a suggestion to visit a local site we weren't even aware of, but turned out to be fantastic. Thank You Thank You Thank You for a moving and memorable stay in your establishment! We hope to be back someday!!
