It was easy to get in with the self-checkin which was important for me since I arrived with the last train. The room had everything I needed, and the bed was perfect. Good pillows, good mattress, just excellent.

The property features river and garden views, and is 48 km from Olma Messen St. Gallen. The guest house has family rooms. Very spacious and comfortable room. Came to stay one night for an early start ski touring. The room is well maintained, warm and functional. Comfortable bed, good shower. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast but there is a common fridge where one can deposit their things (there is a numbered box per room inside the fridge) and free hot coffee and tea in the morning.

At the inn, all rooms are fitted with a desk. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Hirschen Wald - Gasthaus & Bäckerei also have free WiFi, while selected rooms will provide you with a balcony. The units in the accommodation are fitted with a flat-screen TV and a hairdryer. Everything was perfect. People are friendly, very quiet, beautiful location.

Bett am Weiher is directly located at the shore of a pond. Swimming is possible 200 metres away at a local swimming pool. The main train station is 800 metres away and the closest bus station Adler is 50 metres from the bed and breakfast. Superbly renovated building, very comfortable room and equipment

The Bären guest house offers easy access to numerous smaller Appenzell skiing and cross-country skiing areas, which can be reached within 10 minutes’ drive. Gonten Valley Golf Course is only 10 km away. This was our second time staying here and we plan to continue returning! The couple that owns the guesthouse goes above and beyond, they are so sweet and hospitality is 10/10. Great decor, cleanliness, spaciousness, etc. Thank you!

Situated at the foot of the Säntismassiv Mountain Range and the Kronberg Mountain, the Landgasthof Eischen features a traditional Appenzell restaurant with a terrace, a spa area and was renovated in 2012. Beautiful property with a gorgeous spacious room. The staff was very friendly (even with a little language barrier); they were super helpful and kind.

Located next to the car-free centre of Appenzell, Adler Hotel is set in a beautiful traditional Appenzell-style building. It offers free Wi-Fi and wired internet access, a breakfast buffet, and a charging station for electric car. The hotel is right in the city center and 5 min walk from the main station. You have all the needed amenities and a wonderful staff that is paying extra attention to every detail. I definitely recommend staying here while visiting Appenzell or the surrounding areas.

On weekdays, the property can organise a breakfast buffet in the wintergarden, from 06:30 onward. We had an amazing stay at Garni Hotel Torkelbundte.The staff were friendly and helpful,the rooms were spotless and comfortable,and the facilities were excellent.The breakfast was delusious with lots of variety.Everything exceed our expectations,we will definetly come back and highly recommend it!
