It’s not just a place to sleep, it’s an exciting journey into the past, beautifully preserved and tucked away in a truly magical of Pingyao. The host was incredibly kind and helpful from the very start. She picked us up from the train station, shared thoughtful local tips to help us make the most of our stay, and supported us throughout our trip with genuine care. Her hospitality made all the difference. Without a doubt, if I ever return to Pingyao, I’ll stay here again. 100% recommended!

L’établissement Pingyao Jiaxin Guesthouse se trouve à Pingyao, à 1,5 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : China Chamber of Commerce Museum. Totally amazing place to stay! Highly recommended. First of all, it is only 7 mins walk from the ancient city of pangyao. It is also so nearby the railway station. You can go by DIDI or bus, both are so convenient. Second, the decor of the place is AMAZING! I couldn’t help take pictures and video when i first came it. They even have a swing and glass-fish! The staff are so friendly and nice people. The Owner gave me water when i first came and when i left. Whenever i ask for anything she always helps. They have bar and food there with nice prices. I didn’t eat there but saw the food, it looked so delicious. The rooms were also amazing, it is two levels bed and mine was the one above. Surprisingly, it was so comfortable too. When i move it doesn’t vibrate into the bottom bed. The toilet is clean and they have shower gel, hair shampoo, small towel, and toothbrush with toothpaste ready for you to use. The air conditioner works fine and the wi-fi is connected from my room.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing location, right in the center of ancient town of Pingyao but still very quiet. The room is very beautiful, clean and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. Ji is amazing. I highly recommend a short or longer stay at the Ji Family Courtyard Inn.

Situé dans les remparts, dans une maison traditionnelle équipée tout confort! La chambre est magnifique, la salle de bain très moderne, le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux! La famille est géniale, ils sont tous adorables, parents comme enfants ! En plus, le père de la famille est venu nous chercher à la gare et nous a ramené gratuitement. Ils nous ont fourni un plan et nous on indiqué quoi voir et où manger : vraiment parfait !

Situé à environ 10 minutes en voiture de la gare de Pingyao, le Pingyao Xinglongyi Inn propose un hébergement abordable pour les voyageurs. the inn was very beautiful and traditionally chinese. the room was comfortable and equipped with all necessities. the two owners were very nice and helpful, they even spoke english:) bonus they had two beautiful kitties!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. All needed equipment is available. The comfort level is very good for such an old historic building. Good communication and warm welcome. English speaking. Very well situated in the centre of Pingyao.

Situé à Pingyao, dans la région du Shanxi, site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, le Xiangshengyuan Hostel dispose d'une terrasse et offre une vue sur la ville. This is a family-run hotel with the whole family pitching in. They were delightful and keen to be helpful with lots of cups of tea, advice and assistance with purchasing tickets. It felt like I was staying with friends. Very little english, but fearless with using translation apps. Very thoughtful - gave me a bottle of water for the train home after dropping me at the station. The standout for this property was the staff. I wish them every success with their business.
