The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for visiting the incredible rice terraces by walk. The staff were always kind and helpful, and the restaurant served some of the best food we had in Yunnan. We’ll never forget Duoduo, the sweetest dog, who actually guided us through the rice terraces, and Simba the cat, who always kept us company in the living room. They made us feel right at home. Most of all, Jacky made our visit truly special. He arranged transportation, showed us markets and best hiking spots, shared his knowledge of the local culture, and welcomed us with such warmth. Our stay here was unforgettable and made our whole trip to Yunnan unique. We are deeply thankful for the hospitality and the beautiful memories. We look forward to coming back again!

We are travelling all of Asia and there were many good stays but this one was the best, not only because of value of money and the amenities as well as the location within the ancient town of Lijiang, but also the people. The room was big and clean. The people were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with places to visit and also with the trip to Shangri-La. During the stay we were able to leave our language that we didnt need at the place for the two days away . We also were picked up at the train station and also got a lift to the airport afterwards. Laundry was done free of charge, we always got a tee. It was a very pleasant stay, we felt at home, which is true for all places in China during our one month trip. Xiexie

The staff were friendly and helped us book transport from Tina's back to Lijiang

This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The homestay has family rooms. I can't find the words to describe how perfect my stay was. The room was immaculate, the bedding extremely comfortable. The toiletries were top of the range. And the breakfasts... absolutely delicious! Located 2 minutes from the center, this hotel is ideal for a relaxing stay in Shaxi. The host, Lynn, was lovely and always helpful to this French tourist who doesn't speak Chinese (me)! She also sells pottery featuring the local cat mascot: Wa Mao. If I wasn't backpacking for six months, I would have loved to buy some, they're so cute. Just go! ☀️
