The room was clean and cozy and the best thing of course was the balcony facing the ocean...heaven! I sat out there quite a bit, what a view, especially for sunset. A very nice gentleman runs the place and speaks excellent English. Breakfast provided but I left really early so he gave me some coffee plus some hard-boiled eggs to take with me. You can order dinner there, I got a chicken dinner for 700 CVE and it was really good and big portions. The room did not have A/C but I really didn't need it, there is a fan provided and things cool down nicely at night. Great choice and a great value...thank you!

I lived the old colonial time house, which was transformed into the hotel. Renovation is really well done which preserves the spirit of the building and is very atmospheric. Emmanuel, chef of staff is very friendly and helpful. He also makes great cocktails! Best place to stay in Sao Filipe.

Dominga scheint zu Beginn etwas ruppig, ist aber eine herzensgute und liebevolle Persönlichkeit. Sie unterstützt einem wo sie nur kann. Z.b. durfte ich nach meinem cheque-out meiner Wartezeit auf ihrem Sofa verbringen, da mich die Grippe erwischt hatte. Auch für Taxi- oder Aluguerdienste war sie eine grosse Unterstützung. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft sehr.
