Even though we couldn’t communicate too deeply because of the language barrier, he always showed care with the simplest words, and when he found out we were getting married, he was the first to congratulate us🎉 They even rent out bikes—we got a cargo bike on our wedding day ☺️ Staying here in Ærøskøbing really made our trip complete!

The hotel is a historic inn in the center of a very small town. The room is basic, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The large bed is comfortable. The young woman who staffs the reception desk was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. The restaurant is huge and very nice! Apparently people come from all over the region for dinner. The large breakfast buffet has every possible option and is delicious. We really liked the fact that the hotel invited guests to pack a “to go” lunch from the breakfast buffet.
