Our stay at this villa just outside Las Terrenas was truly special. The house sits high on a mountain overlooking the town and the sea, a peaceful spot, yet only a short drive from the center. The hosts welcomed us with genuine warmth and were ready to help with anything we needed, from local tips to directions. Their friendliness really made us feel at home. The view is absolutely breathtaking the photos don’t do it justice. Whether during the day with the ocean in the distance or at night with the city lights below, it’s spectacular. The villa has plenty of space to relax. The rooms are simple but have everything you need: a comfortable bed, hot shower, and airconditioning. At night you’ll hear the full soundtrack of the tropics frogs, crickets, and other wildlife which adds to the experience. The hosts live on the property and have a few friendly animals, which gives it a genuine BnB atmosphere rather than a standard rental feel. Breakfast was one of the highlights: fresh fruit, pancakes, homemade bread, juice, coffee or tea, and eggs cooked to your liking by the host. A perfect way to start the day while enjoying the view. Overall, this was a peaceful and memorable stay, ideal for travelers who want to unwind, enjoy nature, and still be close enough to explore Las Terrenas. Highly recommended!

Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.

Andrea is a great host, he built amazing property in the middle of nowhere. Still, you can reach famous Playa Rincon and El Limon waterfall in no time. We really enyojed time spent in 21 palms, outstanding property and the owner. BTW they gave us upgrade without charge and the local beach is one of the best in Dominican Republic.

I liked everything because this place is lovely. Its not perfect, its more rustic and local but if you like it, its perfect. Literally 200m to the ocean, you hear the waves at night, i had whole top floor for myself, terrace, balcony, huge bed, Mezzanine, sea view, hot water. Very quiet at night. Defo will go back

Ronald is one of a kind host. He really worries about his guests. One day I went for a difficult hike and it took me the whole day, so he thought I got in trouble and went on his scooter to look for me. He was ready to go all the way to Fronton Beach to save me.....Incredible! Luckily we met in the middle of the road)))) Next day when I left he gave me a ride to the main road. He also made coffee for his guests every morning and shared delicious fruit. I never met a hotel owner who cared about anything but money....This guy is a real knight! He also has lots of cats and dogs who live by his property and he takes care of them

Great spacious room with fast internet, great shower with hot water, coffee maker and fridge. The balcony was nice as well and the guest house is close to restaurants and bars. The beach is just across the street. This place is a true gem.

Everything was perfect at Casa Barbara. The host couple is so nice, welcoming and gave us with many recommendations. The pool, jacuzzi and garden are amazing. The bungalow is very well equipped. We loved our stay and would come back !!
