Johan & his mum run it like a high end hotel. Breakfast is wonderful. It’s a $1 /$1.50 ride by taxi into town. Buses are nearby too. It’s well worth the journey, I’m so glad I didn’t stay in the middle of town. I would have stayed longer if it wasn’t fully booked. Johan gave me excellent advice through my stay. He speaks perfect English.

Spa Hosteria Miramelindo is 150 metres from Pailon Devil Cascade and a 20-minute drive from Tungurahua volcano and Llanganates and Sangay national parks. Very nice place for family. The decorations are amazing. The swimming pool is nice. The staff is very friendly. The food was delicious.

They are a wealth of knowledge and kindness, as well as one of the many reasons we want to come back to Banos specifically. You would be lucky to stay here! We absolutely loved spending time in this beautiful home in the mountains. Cannot express our satisfaction. We will be back
