JJ (owner of the house) and his family are the best. They are very friendly, wellcoming, nice and kind. Most of the rooms has a good vieiw of Nile. There is air condition in the room also an extra fan with remote control. The hotel is new so every thing works properly. They offer a free Nile tour to guests. Also they prepared a breakfast basket for me before i check out early in the morning. What can i say, it was really one of the best experiences in my life. Thanks for every thing

This is also a very well decorated place, and in the heart of the Nubian village and the jetty to take the ferry ride! This is super worth the money we spent!

The host is the most helpful and nicest person that we have met during our trip. He gave us very good recommendations and helped us to arrange everything to have a perfect trip (the transportation from Aswan, the tickets for the light show, the food,…) I totally recommend this guesthouse for Abu Simbel.

They are doing their best! They want you to feel at home - and for me it was a home for a week. The room is comfortable and clean, nicely decorated and has lots of hangers. Abu offers a welcoming fruit drink, free boat transfer, sunset trip and much more. He makes delicious fish tajin for dinner. Breakfast is very tasty and nutritious too. I'd stay there again. Highly recommended!

I was a lone female traveller, looking for tranquility in a touristic town with magnificent historic monuments! The guesthouse was perfectly located in front of the lake with birds flying all around, with the great view on sunset, and Ioved it. I was welcomed by a lovely family and enjoyed spending time with them on the balcony. Mr. Adel was always helpful and provided transportation whenever I requested, and kindly came up with options for activities, restaurants etc according to my budgets limits. It was beautiful 2 days, and would definitely recommend staying there.

Airkela is located on the Elephantine Island and needs to be accessed by a boat. Boats are frequently available, at every 10 mins and costs 10 Egyptian Pounds each way. The place itself is very cosy. The owner, Mahmoud Abdolla, is a very caring and sincere person and is active on WhatsApp anytime he's reached out to. I arrived at Aswan very late at night. He had everything arranged, with the car and the boat and it all worked seamlessly. My room was at the rooftop. It was clean, spacious had hot and cold water in the bathroom (wet shower). Towels and soaps were provided. You would need to carry your own toothbrush and paste and any indoor sandals if you need one. Breakfasts were a full so read of bread, cheese, eggs, felafel and amazing Nubian coffee! Mr Mahmoud also arranged for me the tours in Aswan and everyone he arranged the tours with, including the driver, the boatmen, were sincere and reliable. Part of the tour included cruising along the Nile, visiting Nubian village, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk, Nubian Museum.. I had the liberty to ask for a custom trip as it was a private one. Overall, great stay and highly recommended.

Big spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean and with comfortable beds. The showers were excellent too. The apartments were well equipped and the upstairs one had a nice big balcony to sit out on. Breakfast was very good and the owner went above and beyond to be helpful, including giving us welcome soft drinks, water, and a selection of fruit, driving us to a restaurant for lunch, and picking us in the evening after the light show was cancelled due to technical issues. He also organised a nice boat trip for us. This was one of the nicest places we stayed in Egypt and it was well worth spending the night to avoid the crowds and not have 6+ hours of travelling in a single day.
