House was well equipped, underfloor heating was divine after trudging around in the cold. Tommi couldn't have been a better host, always just a text away with info on walking routes, taxis etc. Our flight had been pushed back from lunchtime to night time but Tommi offered to keep our luggage in storage for the day, he then brought our bags to us at SCV, collected us and dropped us to the airport. Really goes above and beyond for his guests.

Super cute and cozy. It was clear the owners put in effort to make it a charming stay and we loved it. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful and we would absolutely recommend staying with them. I forgot my soap in their shower and they went above and beyond to meet me in the city center on our journey back south to return it. We liked that the location was a little outside the city center, but everything is super accessible due to the proximity to the bus line and the walking paths into the city (about 40-50 minutes walking). While totally out of anybody’s control, we got to see the northern lights the first night in town which added a little extra magic to our stay.

His attention to detail is remarkable—he creates an enchanting atmosphere with ice lanterns lining the driveway, adding a magical touch to the evenings. He’s incredibly thoughtful, giving helpful tips and alerting us when the northern lights were visible. If you're looking for the ultimate Finnish getaway, with breathtaking nature, a dark-sky location for northern lights viewing, and a cozy, well-equipped chalet, Guest House Koskenkylä is the perfect choice. We couldn’t recommend it more!
