Beautiful place away from the crowds and bustle of the Côte d’Azur. Lovely owners Laura and Terry who looked after us extremely well. Beautiful breakfasts. Rooms very clean and beds comfortable. Plenty of walkable more affordable restaurants than the bigger towns. This place really delivers the personal touch. I would return in a heartbeat.

The parking is just 50 meters from the hotel and very convenient (15€ per night). All in all, a beautiful experience and highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic stay!

From the moment we arrived to Villa Angelus we realized the perfect location of the property. The first thing we like about about Villa Angelus is its breathtaking surroundings. Situated in a tranquil neighborhood, offering a peaceful relief from the energetic city and the beautiful gardens create a serene ambiance, making it an ideal spot to unwind and soak in the Mediterranean sun. The villa's close proximity to the center and to the promenade is another feature. Also the tram and bus is another option. For only 15 euros you can ride any bus and any tram in the city for one entire week. Villa Angelus is perfectly situated as a base for exploring the region. The iconic French Riviera is at your fingertips, with its glamorous towns like Cannes and Monaco just by taking the train in one of the many terminals (the tram or bus will take you there). Villa Angelus offers parking and this is another positive highlight because parking is very expensive in Nice. I also have to mention Delphine. She is a very nice tenant and she will help you with pleasure on anything you need. She speaks perfectly English, Spanish and of course the stunning French language.

Breakfast was served plentifully with homemade jams, eggs, cakes, pancakes, fruits, and even homemade yoghurt! Whenever we spent time at the pool, he always came by to offer drinks and snacks. Fantastic stay!

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The guest house features quiet street views and a sun terrace. We loved Demeure d'hotes le Rocher. Perfect location in the centre of beautiful Vabonne. Our hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. Our bed was really comfortable and there was a decent shower in the room. The unique, underground wine cellar was an interesting feature of the property. We would highly recommend you to book an evening meal in their restaurant. The delicious cuisine was cooked by an authentic French chef and it was a delight to watch him cook close by. The menu was very well thought out and our host recommended wine and entrees that perfectly complemented the courses. It was by far the best food that we had in France! Thanks to our lovely hosts for making our stay memorable.
