Sadly we were only spending the night before catching our ferry but it does look like a great place to spend a long day just chilling. Breakfast was superb!

I was met with a friendly welcome and felt well looked after from start to finish. The breakfast was excellent.

It was in a convenient location, safe and had all the necessities I needed. The breakfasts were just lovely (I’m still missing them!) and the room itself provided a quiet location to rest my head and relax after a day out exploring. The shower had piping hot water and great pressure, and the tea and coffee options in the room meant I always had a hot drink at hand. Closet and drawer space were ample and the room had plenty of hooks and hangers for my things. I loved sitting in the armchair in the room to read at night, and appreciated having a full length mirror! Robertson makes everything easy for your stay, he is a wonderful communicated and considerate in what is made available for your stay. It’s so refreshing from staying at other places that take days to respond back (If they do at all!). Staying at Ferintosh was one of the highlights of my trip, and I have nothing but thanks and gratitude for Robertson for providing such a wonderful stay. (And many lovely chats!) I will absolutely be back and can only sing praises for this property. You can book with confidence when you book at Ferintosh Guest House. 10/10

Beautiful house full of character, ideal location very close to Lockerbie yet in the green and calm countryside, very welcoming and helpful people, amazing breakfast, motorbike safely parked in the barn :)

A lovely home feeling in this hostel. From the initial warm meeting from the owner (thank you) until leaving I felt very relaxed. I used the twin room on this trip and found it spacious and very comfortable. The communal areas are well spaced out and the kitchen well equipped. Plenty of seating in the dining room area to enjoy meal/breakfast without cluttering the kitchen. Parking , bike areas and drying areas available. On edge of a lovely town within a 15min walk ... this is an excellent decision to stay.
