I really enjoyed the fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi & apple) & plain yogurt. She also cooked great poached eggs & cereal was appreciated. One morning I had salmon & eggs and it was yummy. I failed to mention she had nuts & dried fruit to put on the yogurt…..lots of good choices. My room & bathroom were a good size and the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed my walks from the B&B to the town centre (exploring) & taking the bus to Bakewell and Haddon Hall were fun for a day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

She made us feel like house guests, not like paying customers. She is a gem, and such a hard worker. Breakfast was quick and delicious, and covered anything we would like. Our room was lovely, and oh-so-comfy. Plenty of parking and a central location helped to make it perfect. We loved Castleton, and would return to the Bull's Head in a heartbeat. Can't wait!

There was a decent size bathroom with shower in the room I had Close by and within walking distance to local shops and tram/bus services. Very comfortable room and beds in a great location! The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. It is obvious they love hosting and think of all the details to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful with large portions!

Alan was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home, even offering me a lift to the station on my last day. The room is big and the view beautiful. The room is well stocked with teas, coffees, and even a little fridge. The bathroom is big too. Nothing to fault!

I wanted to stay in some countryside pub-like hotel with more types of beer, some food but at the same time clean and quiet room for sleeping. Everything was there, I really did enjoy my stay there. We went from Hope valley and then on the way back to Edale. There is also a bus going to Castleton so all is perfectly linked, the parking lot was big too but we arrived from Manchester by train
