The hotel although small was very clean, which is important to say. We got fresh towels every day and we had warm water the entire time during the stay. The kitchen was good, but I also brought two cups and forks with us in the room, there aren't any glasses in the rooms, everything is downstairs in the kitchen. The owner Tarmo gave us a bunch of useful tips to get around the place.

We arrived pretty late in the night, and the owner was super friendly and came for our check-in. He even upgraded us, and gave us a more spacious room. He was very kind, and have us all the tips on where to park, and how to organise for our departure in the morning to Mount Athos. The residence is on a very good and central location in Ouranoupolis. It is a new construction with a magnificent design and beautiful architecture. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, there is air conditioning, a small fridge and water is provided for free as a warm welcome. The bathroom is great and new too with a large shower, and amenities are provided. It is excellent, and I can only strongly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alkyonari by Anna in Ammouliani, Greece, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. Additionally, it’s only a 5-minute drive to the nearest beach and 5-10 minutes to the port, making it incredibly easy to explore the island. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and can’t wait for the opportunity to return. We had an exceptional stay at Porto Valitsa. We felt very welcome and immediately felt at home. Everyone was very kind, George and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The resort itself is very beautiful, cosy and relaxing. We loved how quiet it is, surrounded by trees and the sea, all the while having towns, shops and restaurants not far away. We had an amazing time at the beach, the waters are full of life and clean. We also enjoyed the bar a lot, with its friendly staff, good choice of drinks, and jazzy music. I was sad to leave and would have stayed much longer if I could. Completely recommend and worth every penny. Thank you for having us!
