Set in El Remate, 35 km from Tikal National Park, Alice Guesthouse offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The accommodation provides room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. The staff is nice and helpful. All area is clean, tidy and impress. Have booked the bed for 2 people. Normal is single bed for dorm room. Luckily We felt comfortable and no problem at all. The temperature is very high 37 degrees, doesn't felt hot, I guess the top of the room, made of leave. Good place for staying. 😁

Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the island and the lake. Being on San Miguel, you get to have the best view of Flores at all different times of the day surrounded by beautiful plants. Staff are all lovely, especially Noa, who went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy; and the vibe is chilled, relaxed, and easy. It is on a bit of a hill so may not be ideal for people with mobility issues.

Hilda helped us do our laundry, stored our luggage during our 5 day trek, and even helped bring us to Flores on a 4:45 am early lancha. The area is lovely, calm, and a short boat ride from Flores. I cannot recommend this place enough!
