Many restaurants can be found in the surroundings of Guesthouse Sara. The location was ideal due to a short drive after a long hike at Plitvice and an easy to find place. After a long day the clean, comfortable and quiet refuge was ideal with three or more restaurants from 500m to 2K, so a short walk or drive. What else could one possibly need. The breakfast was wholesome and delicious.

Only a 15-minute walk from Plitvice Lakes in Mukinje, the traditionally built Villa Knezevic-completely renovated 2025 offers authentic Lika-style accommodation made from stone and wood. The place is very clean and lit is ocated in a very quiet area and yet close to the supermarket and restaurants , bus stops which serve Zagreb and Zadar, and it is only 15 minutes away from the Entrance 2 of Plitvice Lakes. The host were quite helpful and gave us useful information regarding restaurants in the area etc. They only serve breakfast which unfortunately we could not try since we had to leave quite early but during our early check -out, the host handed us a complimentary lunch packet to go on our way to Zagreb.

Property is located in large area and has beautiful views in itself. It is very quiet, and you can see the stars at night as there's no light pollution. Easily accessible to Plitvice National Park and Plitvice Mall where you can purchase groceries etc.

The property has river and garden views, and is 19 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 1. We had the most wonderful stay here! It was just what we were looking for after being in larger cities the week prior. We were coming from Pula where it was 89° F each day, so at first we were nervous when there was no air conditioning listed. Alas, this was not a problem as the temperature at night was quite cool. The babbling brook outside our window lulled us to sleep each night, the host was amazing, and the breakfast was outstanding!
