We arrived quite late in the evening but Rani and Oussama made us feel really welcome from the start. The room has a comfortable bed, is lovingly furnished and is very clean. The views from the house are lovely. We booked the shorter tour to Gunung Bromo through Maison Manendra and that was very well organised and a nice surprise because the chosen route avoids most of the crowds (especially for the sunrise). The food shared around the big table on the rooftop terrace was always fresh and delicious and we had some very nice conversations with the other guests and also Rani and Oussama.

They offer free bikes, which we used to explore the area and regret not using them to go to Borobudur, would have been perfect!

Our stay was short but absolutely great. The location of the place is very convenient, 20 minute walk from the train station. The room was on the smaller side, but we didn't spend too much time inside anyway, so that wasn't an issue. The place itself is great, room is clean, the garden and the hostel territory is nice with a lot of shaded areas to spend time if it gets too hot. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, homecooked local food. If you're planning to go see the temples in and around the city, this is a great place to stay, absolutely worth the money.

The room was spacious, clean and with a pretty design. Everything worked properly, including hot water in the shower and air conditioning. All toiletries were provided. The breakfast was very tasty. Despite its location in the city centre, it was quiet there. The owners are very friendly.
