You can tell he really cares about his guests. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. The food is incredible too (plenty of vegan and vegetarian options)! I did a 2 night jungle trek with them as well and everything was very well organised, great food and fruit on the trek, comfortable campsites by the river and close to a waterfall. You could tell that the guide really enjoyed being in nature, he had so much knowledge about the animals and plants and made us feel really safe. I got a bee sting and he had magic oil that made the sting disappear in just 30 min! I had a really great stay and trek with Brian and his team and definitely recommend them and would definitely come back one day! :)

The place is very clean, comfortable bed. I had an excellent meal there. Hot shower. The view is beautiful. The place is located in a more secluded area, not near the city but very close to the ferry.

My room was just on the river bank and i can just sitting there watching the river whole day.

Located in Bukit Lawang, Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Excellent family that made feel as a member of their warm and kind community ❤️ They treated me so kind, they were helpful and took care of me what was really nice. Thank you 😊 Their jungle trekking also was high-quality in service, attention and entertainment. I stayed several weeks instead of a few days, def would like to come back.

The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Seagate Bungalows are very new, located right by the water with beautiful views. Exceptional bathrooms and room facilities. The hosts (Borja and Yuyun) with their staff are very hands-on with any requests and queries, etc. They even arranged for snorkelling, dolphin watching trip and transport etc. The on-site restaurant serves good food and good service. Would definitely come and stay again, and recommend to friends and family.

At the hotel, every room is fitted with a balcony. At Sahnan Guest House the rooms come with a private bathroom. I have been in Bukit Lawang for the past two months and have stayed at Sahnan several saturdays during my stay. It's location is great as it's on the side of the river where motorbikes don't usually go so it tends to be quiet (expect for saturdays when there's a party at the guesthouse next door). Great value and very comfortable and the staff have been super nice to me and always happy to help.

À la carte and Asian breakfast options with local specialities, fruits and juice are available. At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and serves Indonesian cuisine. It's just great to arrive here after a long flight. A very, very helpful staff will help you with all your questions. After leaving my card in the ATM, they took me to the city, waited for over an hour with me, then took me to another bank. I took up the entire morning of two people and their car due to my stupidity and just a tip was sufficient. It just feels so good to be helped like that. You just don't get that where I'm from. A clean and calm place to escape the busyness of Medan and I can recommend Bua to be your starting and exit point to beautiful Sumatra.

We highly recommend staying here; the rooms are comfortable, the common areas are inviting, and the garden is simply astonishing.
