A traditional Icelandic breakfast is served every day at Vogafjos Café, located in a cowshed 3 minutes’ walk from the guesthouse. Dinner based on local produce, such as smoked lamb and trout, is also served here. Absolutely loved this place but due to our schedule we needed to leave early the next day so couldn't enjoy breakfast there. The restaurant was exceptional - the service, ambiance and food were a very high standard. With the added bonus of going into the Cowshed to meet the calves and cows! Plus we got to see the Aurora in this location just topped off a fabulous but too short stay! We will definitely be back to enjoy more of what the area has to offer.

Including washer/ drier so you can do laundry while preparing a meal. Ready for a large group. Large bedroom and bathroom with shower. The bedroom opens to a deck. There may be a view. All we saw was snow and fog/ cloud. Iceland was having a late winter to mid-April.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Bathrooms are shared. Nice location close to Mývatn and all facilities are clean

Great place, close to Myvatn, with accommodating staff in the reception, and delicious breakfast with locally made food, I highly recommend visiting it especially if you plan to stay longer in the neighborhood. The place is easy to find but in a quiet area and there is even a gas station in the complex of buildings. Definitely I will come back for more :)

Nice reception people let me check in early. Only me in the room. Heater was on when I got there and the whole place was very warm. Heated floor in the shower was amazing-- very deluxe.
