A traditional Icelandic breakfast is served every day at Vogafjos Café, located in a cowshed 3 minutes’ walk from the guesthouse. Dinner based on local produce, such as smoked lamb and trout, is also served here. The meal was delicious, and the staff was kind. Children could also see cows milking up close. It was a great experience.

Including washer/ drier so you can do laundry while preparing a meal. Ready for a large group. Large bedroom and bathroom with shower. The bedroom opens to a deck. There may be a view. All we saw was snow and fog/ cloud. Iceland was having a late winter to mid-April.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Bathrooms are shared. Very nice Room witg everything what we needed. There was local pool with whirlpool also for a good price in the town.

On-site facilities include 2 hot tubs and a communal TV lounge. Free WiFi is available in the common areas. The room is big, very warm and has everything you need. Also, they have a restaurant where you can take the dinner and i totally recommend to ear there, all the dishes are from their farm and are simply delicios :)

Nice reception people let me check in early. Only me in the room. Heater was on when I got there and the whole place was very warm. Heated floor in the shower was amazing-- very deluxe.
