Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. Everything was perfect! The capsule was very spacious and comfortable. The best one in whole Japan. The design of the Onsen and the whole Guesthouse in general is very cute and would love to go back.

By far our favorite stay in Japan. The Asante inn exceeded all our expectations. We were traveling with my family (with a 6yo) and my dad and his partner. We chose this hotel specifically because of the access to the private onsen (we have tattoos) and the location in Hakone. They were clean and beautiful. You have a slot available by grouping. They also had a massaging chair that removed all the knot from traveling in my back! Overall it was a very relaxing experience and an amazing stay. The common area is right in front of the most beautiful curated Japanese garden. We stayed there for hours, eating delicious food, playing cards and relaxing. The staff has been very kind and helpful, made us feel welcome, even with a little one. There is no restaurants around really but their kitchen is providing a lot of choice of food until 8pm or so. The big room was filled with 4 futons and tatamis and the very small bathroom was clean. They were Alsop shared bathroom available outside. We had a little private garden in our room, tv, tea, yukata and towels available.

Loved absolutely everything about the place itself and the location (which is quiet, but still has absolutely everything you need in a walking distance). Definitely would come back again - I've got to try booking a tatami room next time!

The host was so kind and generous that I felt right at home. I really enjoyed my stay!

200 metres from Yuigahama Beach, Japanese Modern Inn Kamakura Rakuan Hanare---3min walk from Hase Station is situated in Kamakura and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. This recently renovated guest house is located 3.4 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and 23 km from Sankeien. The guest house has family rooms. The atmosphere was perfect, and despite booking a single one room it felt very spacious. Everything was spotless and the futon was very comfortable. Great aircon. I would love to stay here again! The location was perfect as well, walking distance to many things.

This 3-star guest house offers luggage storage space and a shared lounge. The guest house has parking on-site, a hot spring bath and a shared kitchen. Location, staff, kitchen/common area and the private onsen. Parking lot was plenty. The hostess let us check-in early even though we arrived relatively early. The rooms were traditional style with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Host is extremely friendly and ready to suggest local restaurants and other places to go. Large room was comfortable and AC worked good. Loved the little onsen bath. The location was beautiful, hidden off the historic road lined by giant cedar trees.
