This 2-star hotel offers a shared kitchen, room service and free WiFi. The hotel provides a hot tub and luggage storage space. It’s a wonderful guesthouse with a beautiful river right next to it. The owners are lovely and my room was comfy and clean. The breakfast was delicious, and they can change it to vegetarian for you. It looks like they’re trying to use natural products wherever they can! I really enjoyed staying here :)

Outdoor play equipment is also available for guests at the accommodation. Very unique mountain top location in traditional Japanese home, but made very comfortable with everything needed for a cozy and relaxing stay. Would highly recommend if looking for an experience off the beaten path. We especially enjoyed warming up in the fire pit, while BBQing a delicious meal and enjoying the relaxing and awesome views from the mountains.

Train station and parking is just across the street. House is old Japanese style but clean.Bed comfortable.

The property is non-smoking and is located 18 km from Kōchi Station. We rented a car at Kochi Ryoma Airport. The guesthouse was conveniently located near the airport and the freeway, making it easy to access our destination, Dogo Onsen. Initially, I was concerned about parking, but the guesthouse was on a wide road, which is important to know when renting a car in Japan. It was simple to maneuver in and out of the parking spaces located behind the house. The guesthouse was in the town of Noichi, where we enjoyed delicious meals at nearby restaurants. Additionally, its central location between my two other destinations, Kochi-shi and Aki-shi, meant that I didn't have to drive a lot in one day. Our host, Kyoko-san, was incredibly friendly and kind. Since it was the off-season, she gave the three of us two rooms, which allowed for a comfortable stay. I slept well during our time there. Unfortunately, I lost a hubcap from the rental car—it's a long story. On our departure morning, Kyoko-san went out of her way to prepare breakfast for my son and me. After saying our goodbyes, Kyoko-san called to inform us that my son had left his passport and charger behind. She kindly brought them all the way to the airport for us. Overall, I felt that the guesthouse was truly a home away from home.

The guesthouse itself was great if you're looking for a traditional Japanese accomodation. The facilities are clean and well maintained.
