At the accommodation, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a TV. A great place to stay with a very welcoming family. Emi was so kind and willing to help! Also, it was really close to the beach (5 min by bike) and you could rent surfboards and the bikes were free to use. Would highly recommend to stay here if you're in Aoshima!

We were only there one night and paid to have an evening meal there. Four courses cooked by the owner, all locally sourced, delicious! Highly recommend this place. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hiking in the nearby national park.

They drove me back to the closer train station and Yukie was so warm and welcoming. Even if I stayed only 1 night it was a healing break and that’s just so nice to feel so welcome. Daguri Cape Amusement Park is 40 km away and Miyazaki Station is 44 km from the guest house. This guesthouse was perfect. It had all the amenities I needed, including A/C and a full kitchen. The room was well appointed, and the shared spaces were very clean. The owner, Kouki, is genuinely a decent and honest person. Even though I booked at the last minute, he responded right away. I don’t speak Japanese, but he spoke a little English, and with the help of apps we got along fine. He’s knowledgeable about the area and even offered to arrange a tour. We drove down to Cape Toi, visiting many of the sights along the coast. If you’re into surfing and want to know where all the secret surf spots are, Kouki is your guy. Additionally, the nearby area in Nichinan has some historic and interesting sites to visit—also recommended by the stellar host. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
