The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Silent airconditioning. Not cheap but worth the price because of the quality of the rooms. Extra will be breakfast 1200,diner 1500, softdrinks 300-500. Food good though. Contact with the manager only by phone, that's a pity, contact with the local family who takes care of the accommodation and food is very good, though little English.

We had a wonderful visit. The resort is located immediately outside the National Park, so the location is perfect. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The area is quiet and you can hear the birds and the jungle sounds (we even heard an elephant!) The resort is family run and the host, his wife and two sons were very friendly and helpful. The meals were good and (very) plentiful. We enjoyed a safari in the park with the host and there are walking paths on the lake outside the park where we saw lots of birds. Overall a great experience.

Der Host Kalhara war äusserst nett und zuvorkommend. Er hat uns bei der Reiseplanung mit super tipps geholfen und war immer hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und perfekt erreichbar. Das (nacht)essen welches wir hatten war sehr lecker und das frühstück ebenfalls top. Wir können diese unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und fanden das preis-leistungs verhältnis extrem gut. Am beiindruckendsten war, dass er jederzeit erreichbar war und bei allem was wir angefragt haben innert kürzester zeit was organisisert hat.

This was the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka! Amazing location but more importantly, amazing service. Ruwan helped us organise everything from a safari to transport around the area and to our next destination. Would highly recommend!

A really nice place with a beautiful family that is caring about their guests a lot! The rooms are big and clean, the shower as well as the AC was really good! Also the pool was clean and refreshing :) The breakfast and dinner was amazing and different every day - really worth it. We got a little cold and the whole family cared so much for us, even made a fresh veggie soup and didnt even charge for it! Thank you Mama Anuradhapura and family 🧡
