The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized by Buddika, who managed our transfers, meals, accommodation, and safari experience with incredible professionalism and kindness. He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

Die Unterkunft lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, nur schon wegen der Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber. Sie tun wirklich alles, damit man sich wohl fühlt und helfen bei jeder Frage weiter. Das Essen ist sehr gut und wirklich sehr sehr viel. Wir haben nach den ersten Erfahrungen nur noch 1-2 Portionen für 4 (inkl. 2 Kinder) bestellt. Wasserflaschen, Kaffee und Tee kann man jederzeit nachbestellen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich gleich neben dem NP- Eingang, man kann also pünktlich um 6.00 Uhr die Safari starten. Wir haben die Safari mit dem Sohn gemacht, diese war fantastisch, wir haben sehr viele Tiere gesehen, er kennt sich gut aus und hat ein sehr gutes Auge.

The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning and a lovely view of the garden. What really made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality. Kalhara and his wife are truly amazing people – always available, always smiling, and genuinely eager to help with anything. They even arranged a massage and a delicious homemade dinner for us, which we enjoyed under the stars. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine made with love. Every detail was taken care of, and we felt more like guests in a family home than in a hotel. We can’t thank our hosts enough for such a beautiful experience. If you’re visiting Habarana and Hurulu eco park, don’t miss the chance to stay here – it’s a hidden gem filled with warmth, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

What an amazing experience! We came here for 3 nights after reading all these wonderful reviews. I have travelled a lot of places, but never ever have I actually thought of coming back to a place I have been already. That was until I stayed in Visu Villa. I was very sad to leave, because everything was just perfect. Ruwan and his team did everything they could to make our stay so perfect and always with a smile on their face. We felt very welcome, had a great room, the pool was nice and clean. The food was incredible, the evenings with a nice atmosphere. We also got a private safari where we spotted many elephants for a fair price and a tour around the village and even a lift to our next destination. Free of charge. Ruwan is the best host I have ever met. You can never find a better place to stay than here. ☺️ Thanks again to the whole team and we wish you all the best!

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

The staff at Blooming Resort were attentive to all our needs, organizing an experienced tour guide to take us around Anuradhapura, allowing us to explore places we hadn't seen during our previous three trips. Most days, we ended up having breakfast and dinner at the resort, where the food was among the best we had in recent stays on the island. It reminded us of the delightful flavors of traditional Sri Lankan cooking, evoking memories of our grandmother's kitchen. Keep up the great work. We hope to see you soon.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Familie, super Lage ruhig direkt am See und trotzdem sehr zentral. Man bekommt jederzeit Tee oder Kaffee. Pali hat mir einen super Tuktuk Fahrer zu einem fairen Preis organisiert. Am See gibt es zudem viele Bäume, die von Vögeln als Schlafbäume genutzt werden. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um die Vögel in der Abenddämmerung oder bei Sonnenaufgang zu beobachten. Jederzeit wieder! .
