The staff were extremely kind, accomodating and welcoming. The included breakfast was excellent, as were our other two meals from the restaurant. Our room was also comfortable, spacious and had fast wifi.

New Homestay with comfortable big rooms. Very nice shower, better than what I have at home. Silent airconditioning. Not cheap but worth the price because of the quality of the rooms. Extra will be breakfast 1200,diner 1500, softdrinks 300-500. Food good though. Contact with the manager only by phone, that's a pity, contact with the local family who takes care of the accommodation and food is very good, though little English.

This is a very private, hidden-away location in walking distance to the National Park. In fact, you can't get closer by staying anywhere else--and this means you save time by getting to sleep in during the morning. The host and owner, Leel, doesn't speak much English, but uses Google Translate to always help. The rooms have the best A/C, and with only a few bedrooms on the property, it's very private and great for bird-watching. Simple, efficient, and relaxing.

I felt at home here. A small family hotel where I was taken care of like a family member. The owner of the hotel met and took me on his tuk-tuk, organized cheap excursions to Sigiriya, Dambulla and safari to the national park, where there are many wild elephants. The breakfast was huge and very tasty, every time I overeated. The room is cozy and clean. And all this for very little money. Thank you very much for your hospitality. I was glad to spend time with you!)

Vilmal, his wife & Dinu are the loveliest hosts. Nothing was too much for them. Vilmal drove us to Piduranglia at 4:30am so we could hike it at sunrise. Breakfast every morning was spectacular and you can pay for their delicious dinner too. We had a veranda, air con, fast wifi and a fridge in our room. The best place we have stayed in 3 months.
