I recently stayed at Kingfisher Beach Resort, and it was an incredible experience! The resort is amazing, with clean and spotless rooms that are spacious and comfortable – plenty of room to relax. One of the highlights of our trip was a lovely beach BBQ that was very special to us. It created such a warm and unforgettable memory.A special mention to Shehan, who truly made our stay memorable. He’s a fantastic chef, skilled therapist, and an excellent guide. Thanks to him, we had the chance to see a leopard and a bear – such a thrilling experience.I highly recommend Kingfisher Beach Resort to everyone. Thank you, Shehan, for your hospitality. This is am experience you wont forget! Sleeping on a platform in the jungle was so peaceful. We absolutely loved the motorbike safari, highlight of the holiday. Saw elephants crocodiles and heaps of birds. Owner is very experienced guide and so knowledgeable. We loved it, absolutely unforgettable.

The host was extremely nice and helpful. The room is big, with AC and a nice private bathroom with all necessary. The owner has been extremely helpful, he rented us scooters for a fair price and gave us nice insights of the area :) He also came with us to the bus station to help us take the correct bus! Great experience, absolutely recommended

Wir haben drei Nächte in Lagoon Hotel übernachtet. Bei Ankunft wurden wir erstmal mit einem Tee willkommen geheißen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Kamal, der Gastgeber, ist Ornithologe und Safari Guide. Er hat zudem einen eigenen Jeep mit Fahrer. Hier bekamen wir die günstigste Safari auf unserer Sri Lanka Reise angeboten. Kamal erklärte und zeigte uns Tiere und Vögel, die wir alleine niemals entdeckt hätten. Auf den Klippen am Meer wurde eine kleine Rast gemacht und es gab einen kleinen Snack. Die Frau des Gastgebers ist eine ausgezeichnete Köchin und hat uns jeden Tag mit einem neuen Gericht überrascht. Reis mit verschiedenen Curries und Nudeln mit Fisch. Obst als Nachtisch gehörte natürlich auch immer dazu. Unglaublich lecker und zu einem absolut fairen Preis. Das Frühstück gab es auf eigenen Wunsch, europäisch oder lokal oder eine Mischung aus Beidem. Wir fragten und sie besorgten uns sogar Buffalo Curd. 😋 Es wird ein sehr günstiger Waschservice angeboten. Die Wäsche war auch nach Farben getrennt gewaschen worden. 👍 Kamal hat uns auch bei unserer Routenplanung und mit Klasse Empfehlungen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe beraten und unterstützt. Einfach ein super Rund-um-Service. Wir können die Location als auch die Safari mit Kamal nur wärmstens empfehlen !

But at the same time they are always ready to help you if necessary. Imagine that you are very tired of the city bustle, constant noise, annoying and intrusive sellers. You want to escape somewhere to the ends of the earth. Then this is the place for you. Here you will be met by Thaliph, who will give you a room, feed you breakfast and express his readiness to introduce you to the beauty of Sri Lanka. Imagine a beach with fine white sand. Closer to the ocean, the sand is already chocolate color. And not a single tourist around, no one will prevent you from enjoying the beauty of the ocean. Only you and the ocean, which will greet you with the sound of the surf and a light breeze. In this house, you will be surrounded by the most hospitable and friendly people. When we went to this guest house, we imagined a hotel, fuss, scurrying staff. But, after we checked in, we were left to our own devices. At the same time, everything we needed was given to us as soon as we reminded about ourselves. The breakfasts are excellent. Fish with rice or vegetables, shrimp or fruit on the ocean shore are simply delicious. You will always be given fresh tea, and those who wish will be offered a bottle of beer. By the way, when you go out onto the terrace in front of the house, you are already on the shore and the ocean greets you. We were met at the airport. Upon arrival, the rooms were already ready for occupancy. Everything was clean and tidy. And again, without unnecessary fuss. If you want, they will organize any trip for you along any route: beaches, national parks, Buddhist temples, all the sights of Sri Lanka.
