The owners were attentive, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect!

The air conditioning worked well plus a strong ceiling fan. The room was clean as well and the host provided an adapter in the room. He also welcomed us with two fresh coconut waters and on the morning of our safari at 5am he was kind enough to make us coffee. On our last day he gave us fresh watermelon slices before checking out. At the inn all rooms come with air conditioning, a desk, a balcony with a lake view, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. At Heaven in Satinwoods, all rooms include a seating area. It is not possible to describe how special this place is and we highly recommend everyone to come here and experience it yourself. Heaven in Satinwoods is our favorite place in Sri Lanka and also the food here is just the best that you can get. So if you come to this place, you should definitely try the rice and curry. From the first second we arrived at this place, we felt like staying in paradise. We were welcomed with a fresh juice, some wet towels to refresh our faces and a flower necklace. The rooms are very spacious, there is an A/C in every apartment and it is very clean. Also you have drinking water in the room, so you don’t need to buy water. You can just bring empty water bottles and reuse them, which is really great. Also this place has a wonderful garden with many beautiful trees, plants and flowers and you can watch many different animals like giant squirrels and really beautiful birds! At the guest house, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. We stayed at Blue Birds Tissa for one night to do the morning safari at Yala National Park. Priya organized our pick-up from Ella and welcomed us with a fresh coconut drink. We also had lunch and dinner at the home stay which were freshly made and really delicious. The room was clean and providing everything you need. The location is close to a lake where Priya took us on a free bird’s safari in the afternoon. He also organized the safari to Yala NP and the transport to our next location. Priya and his family are going above and beyond to give their guests the best stay possible to a reasonable price. Thanks again for our great stay!
