Amazing all around. Tony was very responsive before my arrival, super friendly, and has all the info. The house is in a great location, I had a room facing the street and it never bothered me (and I'm actually a light sleeper). The room was cozy and I enjoyed the balcony (especially the kettle lol). Highly recommend staying here and I will definitely visit Jaffna again and stay at Tony's!

Allen, as mentioned over and over in other reviews, is the best host EVER. This kind of people makes the difference when traveling like we do, where the main goal is to enjoy the culture and people, as much as the places we visit. Allen went way beyond expectations on helping us with whatever we may need (from train schedules, arranging a great driver for a day-long tour, giving us recommendations for local places, to taking his bike and buying us some cold beers after hours, or getting up to prepare us an unusually early morning breakfast to go, due to our very early schedule), overall making us feel like his true guests despite the commercial relationship. Well-travelled, Jaffna-native but with many years in Europe, Allen is the kind of person that you hope you have more time to get to know better, and that will remain as a highlight of any trip. The property is his own home, where you rent some rooms. It is a very quiet spot in a green and shady compound in a cul-de-sac, a great respite from some of the Jaffna frenzy. Located a quick 5-min. tuk-tuk ride from the train station, it is also near the main Hindu temple of the city, a couple of blocks away. The room we rented had its own exclusive bathroom, but crossing the living room. There was another room with a full private bathroom, not available at the time. The house has a quaint feeling, very cozy and clean. The AC in the room worked fine and it was very welcomed. Breakfast was great, abundant and tasty, prepared by Allen on the spot.

Raj’s place is an excellent base for a few days in Jaffna. Raj is an outstanding host—very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The rooms are simple, clean, and have great air conditioning. They also include a hot shower with excellent water pressure. The location is a five-minute walk to a few local restaurants or about a 25-minute walk (or a short drive) to Jaffna town. The place is a lovely, relaxing, and peaceful spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is available for an additional 900 LKR per person. The breakfast is excellent—a very generous spread of authentic cuisine that changes daily. We thoroughly enjoyed Raj’s hospitality and would definitely return if we’re in Jaffna again.

Toller Gastgeber - er interessiert sich für die Gäste, fragt nach. Tolle Lage gleich neben dem Nallur Tempel und trotzdem ruhig. Haran hat mir bei der Planung der Tage geholfen und mir einen tollen Tag zu Inseln und an die Strände vermittelt.

Dilan was such a nice and friendly host. The rooms was safe, clean and we had a lot of space. The shower was working well and it was a go base to do the daily activities. Totally recommend it 😎✌️🌞🌴

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, wunderbares frisch zubereitetes Essen (Crab Curry war der Wahnsinn 😋). Frühstück war sehr authentisch und abwechslungsreich. Ruhige Lage in der Nähe des Naguleswaram-Tempel. Bequeme Betten, gute Ausstattung. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Simply a fantastic hotel in Jaffna. Location is excellent, near both the train station and sights. The room was beyond my expectations for the price. This is probably the best accommodation I stayed in during my time in Sri Lanka. Great hospitality by the staff too. Thank you for a great stay.

Excellent spacious and clean ac room and bathrooms. Quite comfortable for me, my wife and 2 children. A very good common kitchen with drinking water, coffee making facilities, refrigerator, tv etc. Spacious courtyard in front of the room, my kids enjoyed playing there. Mr Prasath and family, the owner of the property are very caring, friendly and a good person, who helped us to easily get into the location and arranged our return by tuk tuk guided for good food. There are nearby restaurants that serve authentic jaffna foods at a moderate rate. The location is very convenient for moving to and from the city, etc. Old and famous temples nearby as well.
