However coming back is a little bit challenge since you need to hike to the up a little but. There is always tuk tuk available on the outside. Loved this place!!

The host was a wonderful gentleman who made sure my stay was an excellent one and provided me with useful information during my stay. He even arranged my transfer to Trincomalee which I appreciated. The room itself was very comfortable with a fan that kept the room at a nice temperature as the nights are cool.Nice bed and good hot water pressure.

Owner is helpful and is making sure that his guests feel like at home. Breakfast was tasty, coffee, water and tea can be delivered to the room. Hotel is a good place for sunrise hike to Ella Rock (it took us 1.5h to get to the top from the hotel on foot). Ask for cooking classes - owner's mom is a very talented chef and can teach you how to cook Sri Lankan dishes. Amazing experience and great people!
