Serene environment, top quality service from the lovely owner, the room was immaculate with everything we needed and very picturesque. The host even provided us with tea, water and laundry service. Possibly the best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka, and do not be put off by the negative reviews regarding the driveway, it is easy via Tuktuk and worth it for the views and privacy. Their tuktuk shuttle is free and available 24/7 - thank you again for a wonderful stay ❤️ the best place to eat is Ella Siyapatha Hut Restaurant. This was the most authentic meal we had that was cooked by the gorgeous family. Truly an amazing experience if you’re in Zella

What an amazing stay. We had the room that was orientated to the east and every morning we could see the amazing sunrise. The balcony was spectacular, we really liked to have breakfast there. The room was big and very cute and tidy. We definitely recommend this place.

Everything! We had the family room and was such a dreamy room. All in wood, very nice atmosphere and the hosts are so lovely. They made us feel at home, they are so nice and we will never forget this special place. Breakfast is amazing on the balcone. This is our favorite host in Sri Lanka. The family running this place couldn’t be nicer, they made us feel at home immediately (not only with fresh juices they made). The room we’ve stayed in was very cozy, comfortable and very clean. In the mornings we’ve opened the window to listen to the birds (the garden around the house is amazing and the area is very quiet(!). It’s the perfect place to relax before hiking. Another highlight is homemade super tasty breakfast. Don’t hesitate to choose this place if you’ll be in Ella. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality.

We have never experienced such kindness and genuine warmth from the staff before. The gentleman was incredibly helpful, even drawing us a map and thoroughly explaining the route so we wouldn’t get lost on our hike to Ella Rock. Additionally, he arranged a tuk-tuk to town on a rainy day and prepared the most delicious breakfasts we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, and the quiet surroundings made it perfect for relaxing after our mountain adventures.
