This family guesthouse is a really wonderful experience. We arrived a little earlier than planned and the room was promptly made available for us. They helped with all of our questions & arranged a bike for us and we had a lovely breakfast every morning on the balcony. Great location! Quiet spot off the main street but still walking distance into all the restaurants and shops! The host was so kind and welcoming!! We had a Sri Lankan breakfast which was delicious and she made us breakfast to go for our second morning as we had an early train!! Bed was so comfy and the room was huge with everything you need!!

Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the place. The view is fantastic, good coffee, room service, fun manager:)) just keep in mind it’s in the mountains so the weather can get chilly and rainy.

Perfect location, great views, near railways, so you can see the trains passing by. In 7 minutes you can walk to Ella. The other way on the railway will bring you to the waterfall en Ella Rock. When you just passed the trainbridge, go down, and ask the women for guiding you to a beautiful viewpoint. On your own its difficult to find. Breakfast is good. The caretaker Lashman is gentle and tells a lot of things to visit/to do. From were you will have breakfast, the view uphill is lovely, looks like a jungle. We parked our tuktuk just across the railway.

I loved my 3-day stay and can't recommend this place enough! I was worried about the location but it was very easy to walk to the center, and to tuk tuk back at night to avoid walking along the railroad tracks (paid about 600 LKR). Staff were very friendly and breakfast was delicious Very comfortable bed, great shower with hot water and water pressure. The guesthouse is only about 3 or 4 rooms and each has its own little private balcony for breakfast.

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, absolutely lovely people. The food was amazing and freshly cooked to order. Saman was there for us throughout the stay and even gave us a lift into town when we needed it. Rooms were spacious and clean, balconies have stunning views of the valley. Absolutely recommend!
