We had been warned of some accomodations in udawalawe making you book safaris through them directly or denying you a room, this is not one of those places. When we checked in we were offered a tour but our hosts were perfectly fine with us having one booked from outside. Dinner buffet was to die for and breakfast was wonderful.

The owner and his family were very kind and hospitable, always smiling and helped with everything. Also organised for me safari for very reasonable price. You get so much value for very little price.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. The host was super friendly and humble, the place was really spacious and clean and the view of nature and the monkeys was entertaining! Had such a good breakfast. Janith also helped me to go to the ATM and showed me the good places to have dinner. I also would recommend going to do the safari with the owner because he is very passionate about it! There enough restaurants walking distance, I also ended up walking to the water reservoir and it was a nice walk.

Super friendly staff that gave us the best experience! We had very nice Sri Lankan food for both breakfast and dinner. They also arranged taxis for us to travel to our next stop and the safari was amazing.
