We had a wonderful breakfast and wish we had more time to experience his cooking for lunch or dinner. Were also very helpful arranging Yala safari for us ☺️

The entire family that run this place are about the nicest people you will ever meet. They did above and beyond to help me out, notably finding and then physically hailing mystery bus #10 direct to Elle which saved me 7 hours travel time. Facilities were clean, comfortable and relaxing even though, because I was too cheap to pay for air conditioning, a little hot in the early evenings. I suggest you choose more wisely. They have free bikes, which I was unable to take advantage of but others raved about and the on site food was very good. Bring guitar pics, music, and a few licks for their talented son.

They arranged a safari for us for 16400 rupees (54€) and it was awesome, it included a huge breakfast in the middle of yala national park. You also get a coffee/tea and bananas before the safari starts.

My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

Der Gastgeber ist sehr zuvorkommend und sehr lieb und hilfsbereit! Er hilft und organisiert auch vieles. Die Safari zum Yala Nationalpark kann direkt über den Gastgeber organisiert werden und es war grossartig! Diese Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen.

The air conditioner was cold, the water hot, the pool refreshing, the view spectacular, breakfast delicious and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I could have easily stayed longer. The beds were comfortable, complete with mosquito nets for a peaceful night's sleep. I loved sleeping by the soothing sounds of birds. The view is absolutely breathtaking! They also organize safari at the best price with excellent guides. Additionally, they arranged a taxi to Ella for us at a rate even better than Uber.
