Very quiet place. Located very close to the city. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. You can get bicycles for free. Our safari was organized by the hotel. It is very excellent. Our driver is very good. We saw all kinds of animals including leopards. We went on a full day safari. We had a wonderful breakfast and lunch. After the safari, we got a taxi from them to go to Mirissa. Very reasonable prices. They always try to provide the best service.

Su welcomed me with a big hug and that kidness was constant during my short stay. She brough me a passion fruit juice after my long trip and woke me up with a coffee for the safari. Her husband was waiting with me to help me catch the right bus. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable with a nice balcony.

I will - above all - point out the amazing care dedicated by the host and his wife in order to serve us the best quality of ingredients and prepared the finest dishes of Sri Lankan cuisine! That was the only place of all Sri Lanka over a 3+ week period where we had the chance (and the luck) to taste authentic local food - and it was amazing! We saw so many amazing animals. We cannot recommend this place enough. The family is so kind and the service is excellent. The room is also very clean and comfortable with high quality Aircon.

Very nice and comfortable place. the staff are very well taken care of and prepare breakfast before an early safari. at the same time, the staff is also invisible, so you feel that the whole villa belongs to you (if there are no other guests). we spent most of our time on the terrace by the pool, meaning in the common area, which was very nice to be around.

Bundala Bird Sanctuary is 26 km from the guest house, while Situlpawwa is 39 km from the property. Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 28 km away. I really loved the location, it had an excellent view of the lake and it is a great family run business. We had dinner at the cabana and it was delicious.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We even had a packed breakfast as we had early safaris each day. Cannot praise enough. Make sure you visit the Crocs before you leave!!!
