We also rented the kayak and visited a nearby island which was a unique experience. Her place is located ideally for exploring the south of Mauritius. Pipine is an amazing host !

This was the most peaceful place we have stayed in a while. Super friendly host/hostess and staff. It was like we were staying with some relatives. The location was excellent, the sunsets you get are amazing. There were great restaurants nearby, which served amazing food. Also we had variety in breakfast, no two days were the same. Which you do not get at the resorts. It is a place you have to experience, nothing can describe it. And yes the rum was 😋

All units comprise a seating area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. Units are equipped with a coffee machine, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while selected rooms also offer a terrace and some have sea views. At the guest house, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Such a serene location- we couldn’t get over how quiet it was. We were in Le Faré room which felt luxurious and had the best views of the gorgeous sunsets! The room has everything you would need and we loved the outdoor shower. They also provided everything to prevent mosquito bites- plug in devices, sprays and the mozzy net round the bed, which were very effective. You do need a car to access Harmonie and to get to restaurants and supermarkets but we didn’t mind that considering how tranquil and private Harmonie is. Hosts recommended supermarkets which meant we picked up stuff for breakfast before our check in and loved having breakfast on our private terrace overlooking the bay. A brilliant start to holiday. Only regret is that we didn’t check the nearby activities booklet earlier so we missed out on whale watching - as they were booked up on our last day. So definitely take advantage!

Both Husband and wife welcome me in the morning and were very kind. The great thing is that you feel safe as they were staying right there and equipped with CCTV. You have also a living room and a terrace to relax and have food with family and friends. They go beyond to make you feel at ease if ever you need something more. Sad i did not use the pool because of time. Will book again for sure.

Maison Tropical is a recently renovated guest house in Flic-en-Flac, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, free bikes and garden. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation offers full-day security, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. Our stay at the villa exceeded all expectations! I loved absolutely everything — from the thoughtfully designed décor that reflects the island’s spirit to the charming details like coffee glasses, plates, and quality kitchen utensils. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, which was very convenient. The little touches made our stay even more enjoyable: the mattress, pillows, and blankets were of outstanding quality — I slept like in paradise. The host was always available and ready to help with any questions, which made us feel truly cared for. The garden on the property is simply stunning — in my opinion, the best in the entire Flic en Flac area. And the turtles living there added even more magic and joy to our experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, relaxation, and a wonderful time. It’s the perfect retreat for the soul!
